Well thats what I think is going on anyways...
Well thats what I think is going on anyways...
if you pay attenetion to the game, then there is no "different timeline"when he pulls the sword and is send to a different timeline
putting aside TP
your scetch thingy is correct if you believe there is a split timeline.
there was a whole discussion going on in the "Split Timeline" topic.
but personally i don 't believe in the split timeline.
why? well here is a couple of reasons:
if you pay attenetion to the game, then there is no "different timeline"
if there was then there should be a second link in the future.
he didn 't travel to the future, his spirit was locked up for 7 years just because he wasn 't mature enough to be the hero of time.
so in other words, he still is in his own timeline. so he is going upstearm and downstream within in his own timeline. he doesn 't take one hop of 7 years to a different timeline.
However, that would mean that he is erasing what he has done in the future by traveling back. Only if he went straight back to his original time would the events continue as he left them in the future.
But I can agree with you on the split timeline being a bit "iffy"...
Its easier to create a timeline theory if you include the split-timeline, but if you think in terms of common sense, Link traveling back would only erase what he done in the future...
Its all a buncha confusion for me, and I have given up for now with the timeline deal...
Okay, Twilight Princess is no where near Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.
