Beedle loves bugs and will pay a good reward for them, he won't steal them though. Symin just mass sells pics, you don't get a choice on what you get. (worth the 100k if you don't wanna work for it) Lure line probably refers to Lurelin Village in the faron tower region right in the south easten corner of the map.

That sounds good thanks! I'm not familiar with the hook or the lure line,must have missed that. Btw, I have the rhino beetle and Beedle wants it awful bad,says he will steal it. What's that all about ?

Bugs frighten easily. My advice is to run around in the Shiekah clothing, you're much less detectable that way and can get very close while moving quickly without spooking them. Look at the trunks of trees, you will see large beetles sitting on them, bot really moving much. It does suck a bit, as you can only see them from one side of a tree but they can spook no matter where you come from because of the sounds you make, so it's entirely possible to scare one off without even knowing it's there. Some areas that seem to have higher concentrations of beetles on trees are the Faron province, and the beach east of Lurelin Village where you find the shattered stone tablet shrine quest. (Edit because that map popped up) It's called Palmorae Beach.

some good places to look are at kakariko village and the posts there you'll find a lot of beetles there, as well as the hook near lure line just remember to use your sensor

Just to tag onto this, in terms of sneakiness you can also get lil snails from rivers, they glow green at night They can be cooked into meals for a silence boost. Good for if you don't have the sheikah set or don't have the whole set.

Your sensor will detect beetles?

You can take a photo of a bug and it will be logged in your photo album at which point you can set the Sheikah sensor to search for it from the map screen. Bear in mind the sensor does NOT take altitude into account so if you can't see it then it could be high or lower than your current point.
