Majora's Mask Electrical Attack?

How do you use the electrical attack with the Zora mask?

This may sound like I'm an amateur, but right now I'm okay with that, 'cuz I just need to get the Great Bay Temple over with.

I can't remember very much since it's been a long time since I've played but I think you have to press one of the shoulder buttons.

You press the R button while you are swimming. It is really nifty when you battle the boss.

yeah or you can use it with B while you have your shield up.

Yeah, everyone's right. Press the R button when swimming around or when you're holding up your shield and NOT MOVING. You can only use your Electrical Shield when holding up your shield if you're not moving or Z Targeting. You can't just press R when your standing on the sand underwater. You can also just be floating up to the surface and press R for protection, which is good if you need to float back on top of the water with low health.
