Dumb comments you often see or hear

I really don’t judge comments, because I want people to have their own agency and voice.
That said nothing statments like “you know,” and “it is what it is.” Filling dialouge with these over and over feels worse than talking to Chat GPT. Its fine to use then sparingly, and in context, but repeating them excessively like some Rated R flicks use the F Word gets old fast.

Very much a dude.
Prepare to get pissed off, as these comments demonstrate ableism due to my autism and ADHD.

I covered their names, because at least I have the decency to protect their privacy.

This occurred after I said I was diagnosed with both autism and ADHD, and that he doesn't know what he's talking about. Got that reply.

This occurred after I said that autism is a legitimate condition and diagnosis. But apparently, it's a "label" that doesn't allow me to live life on my terms....

Tell me you don't know what accommodations and supports are, without telling me.

This was in response to an answer I did on the concept of neurodiversity, and what conditions would be labeled "neurodivergent."

Psychopathy isn't included.

This was in response when I gave a comment explaining some autistic and ADHD behaviors.

Apparently, explanations aren't explanations, they're excuses.

This was in response to a comment I made about Applied Behavior Analysis, which, consequently, increases the chances of PTSD and CPTSD in autistic people later in life, and our own Department of Defense wrote a 35 page report on ABA and how ineffective it is, how the results of the first study have yet to be replicated, and how the founder of ABA is the same man who came up with gay conversion therapy, something we already know to be inhumane and abusive.

But that doesn't matter to this "regustered" BCBA who works at Outback Steakhouse (demonstrating you don't need any real qualifications to be a BCBA), that means I'm a snot-nosed autistic kid that needed spanked as a kid.

This was in response to an answer I did on a dual diagnosis of autism and ADHD. Apparently I'm biased and condescending for telling my experience.

Screenshot (100)(1).jpg

This was in response to an innocuous comment where I said due to being autistic and ADHD, I sometimes need reminders for things, which my wife helps me with. Apparently, that means my wife is an abuser and gaslighter, and that I don't need reminders.

Yes, I responded to all of these comments.

It was no use.

'Drive safe' makes my blood boil, like yeah actually I was planning to drive 80 in a school zone right before running 5 red lights, causing a 16 car pileup as I then akira slide into the side of an oil tanker filled with liquid nitrogen without my seatbelt on, but since you told me to 'drive safe' I'm gonna magically become Mr. Rogers behind the wheel and drive softly on clouds through a field of daisies on the way to my destination. The most pointless expression ever and when driving is your job you hear it 10x as much. Also when people say 'be safe' or 'stay safe' its equally as annoying, like mind your own business instead of trying to tell me how to live my life
