This question is going to get the most different answers..

Music is something totally individual, Nobody can say what is good or bad music. It's totally subjective and I suggest you start listening to radio where there is everything from pop, rock to classical and country music. Or just jump on spotify and lsiten to different playlists, So with that being said here is a guideline for what you should do..

1. Find out what genre of music you like..

I like R&B, Pop, House, Dubstep, Hardstyle, Techno and pretty much anything that you can dance to on partys..

It really depends on your preferences in music. I am a big heavy metal, thrash metal, and metal fan in general. If you are into metal I can give you some advice on some bands to check out. If you like really long, meaningful songs, check out Iron Maiden. Iron Maiden has been on the metal scene for years and is one of the best and most respected bands out there. I would reccomend Metallica's older stuff, especially Master of Puppets, but if you want a really consistant thrash metal band go with Megadeth. Megadeth is still doing what Metallica wish it could do. Black Sabbath is one of the founding fathers of metal so you should check them out. Deep Purple is a progressive metal band and they have some really good songs. If you like glam metal I would reccomend Van Halen or Twisted Sister.

A lot more. But that's my taste. I mostly like the Beatles because I am a scouser.... and their music is so damn good. I made a parody of their song "Carry that Weight" and called Karry that K.... XD

If you're looking for something a little different from the normal list of classic rock bands (ACDC , Beatles, etc) try giving CAKE a listen the have tons of great tunes and a unique sound! Go to pandora.com and make an account. Make a station starting with a group or singer you like and it will play other music in that station with the same genre. Great way to find other songs/artists you may like
