A Link to the Past Discovered a New (to Me) Quote at Dwarven Smiths Home

so i'm playing ALTTP gba just a few minuted, i was messing around in Kakariko Village. I decided to go the the Dwarven smith for the heck of it, i wondered if they would say anything if i hit the anvil with the magic hammer, i tried hitting it from the bottom, nothing, I tried again from the other side,and, to my surprise they said "hey,hey, amateurs shouldn't try to do this. you're just getting in the way!" jerks. Anyway do they say this in the SNES version too? also what are they striking on the anvil, looks like a strip of gold with a W on it. any idea what that is?

Yeah, they always say that when you try to use your hammer on their workbench thing. I do it every time I play.
