DGN Pokemon League Reboot (Interest Thread)

So we all know how the X/Y League here folded, yeah? I figured the time is ripe to try it again, with one twist; the Elite Four will have a pool of Pokemon that they can select their team from, rather than just your average six.

Would anyone be interested?

Yes! Maybe this time I can actually get challengers.

I'd probably take part as a challenger I guess. I think it would be really cool if the Elite Four members had to use Pokémon from one specific element though, like in the games.

But that would make the elite four really weak. It would be super easy to counter them. But I guess the challengers might need such an advantage.

Monotype is an interesting concept, but the only way to make monotype balanced is for both players to use a random type that the others don't know about (for example mono fairy would almost always beat mono dragon and there's not much you could do to prevent that).
