So, as the title says, what do you think is the coolest boss music?

Personally, I love the Molgera fight music and I LOVE the Nightmare battle music from Kirby's Adventure.

Actually, come to think of it, all of the Kirby games I've played so far has some EPIC (final and non final) boss music.
And, I would have to say that for being a "cute" game, you would NEVER expect such wicked licks in a game such as Kirby.
I must congratulate Nintendo and HAL for doing such a WONDERFUL job on the Boss fight music from Kirby games.
They have to be the coolest in my mind.

But it will have to be the Beast Ganon segment from Twilight Princess Dark Beast Ganon: Last Boss 2/4 Twilight Princess (Wii) - YouTube

This version of Ganon has to be the best I've seen in any Zelda game....I remember the first time I played TP and I saw Ganondorf transform and I was like Holy..... The music made this boss fight even more intense, since you would have to keep your wits about you! It reminded me of one of my fav bosses of all time Phantom Ganon, while shooting the pictures :)

Whenever I get to him, I make the battle last longer than it should because I just love the music so much skfafkasdk <3

I also really enjoy the Gannondorf Battle theme from The Wind Waker. It sounds super intense, and makes the fight so much more exciting. =D

One of my favorite boss themes is Vaati's wrath. For a gameboy advance game, the music was awesome.

Gack, it's moments like these where I wish I wasn't so isolated to such a small amount of games. But, I can't totally hepl that... Anyways, here are six:

1) DoGelwein Battle - Rune Factory Frontier
I think this piece, by far, is my favorite boss battle theme ever. It's epic, dramatic, energetic and really pulls your concentration during the actual fight. It fits the kind of fantasy-like feel of the battle rather well, and it motivates. If I had an option to refight the final boss in this particular game over and over again like I can in many Legend of Zelda games, I think I would come back just to hear this song.

2) Morudo Geira - The Wind Waker
So much love. I heard this song long before I actually got to play The Wind Waker. The melody is simplistic, but at the same time, really crisp and defined. When actually battling Molgera, you really can't hear the percussion as it's mostly flooded out by the sound of sand stirring, Link fighting, and Molgera himself--but the melody sticks around and really completes the battle. I like the song more than the battle, but nerm.

3) Levias Battle - Skyward Sword
I... like... this... song. My ears keep picking up a hint of Star Wars music woven into this piece, but maybe that's just me. Other than that, I like how the song gradually progressed as the battle did. I mean, it started out simple, and began upping by the time the true thrill of the battle was with me. More songs need to have transitions like that. They don't have to be synced with phases of battle depending on the HP of the boss or anything, just dramatic medley-like shifts in mood and whatnot.

4) Ganondorf Battle - The Wind Waker
I love the composition of this. Obviously, it was arranged around Ganondorf's theme, but the improvisations are absolutely stunning. The vocals, the coexisting melody/harmony, the slight contrast in mood, the chords... Everything is great. It's insanely vivacé--a tempo the really compliments the battle in question. I almost want to say... there is a hint of reverence imbued into this piece--sounds kind of like a castle theme, in a way--but that might just be me.

5) Mimic Slime Battle - Rune Factory Frontier
This song is pretty much liked for similar reasons to me liking the Molgera Battle music. There are elements in the song that actually add to the battle, as you can hear slime-like sounds in the background of the track. But the song itself is amazing and very catchy.

6) Majora's Wrath - Majora's Mask
I know I haven't actually played Majora's Mask, but that doesn't mean I can't listen to the OST, right? I obviously can't provide much for this, but I have the orchestral version of this on my iPod and it is absolutely captivating. I can't wait to actually experience this song in-game during a fully-fledged battle. Mmm...
