I did this sidequest and gave it to Karane, cause even though Cawlin is a jerk I felt honor bound to do the right thing so I gave it to her. Knowing how both options end, I just don't really do this sidequest cause I hate Pipit and I don't want to make Cawlin sleep with a hand for the rest of his life so yeah. The concept of having multiple endings to a sidequest in a Zelda game I think is awesome though. I just didn't care for this particular one.
