cats are chiller and less needy i feel like and thats up my alley but i don't really like the idea of keeping pets at all since i don't want to restrict what they can do. If i lived in the countryside i might consider it. Turtles seem pretty cool and long-lived and i've considered getting one of those before but the cage thing still gets to me
