My mom dislikes video games the only one she will willingly play is Wii Sports and she wants to get Glee Karaoke:dry:, and my dad refuses to play any video game and thinks they are a waste of time:(.

But I have two older cousins that play and own most zelda games, but I will be the first to own Skyward Sword:).

Im the only Zelda fan in my house. My sister can follow what im saying, but she doesnt really care. She died from a Deku Baba in the Great Deku Tree, and couldnt get past the first dungeon in TP. She says that there are "too many Zelda-y puzzles that only Zelda peoples can figure out". My mom... she knows Links name... and she knows he's the green one...yeah, thats about it. XD

My parents know the series as Legend of Zelda, but that's about it. I don't think they even know there's a character named Link... Although I think they do know about the cuccoos. My brother knows some of the older Zelda facts, but that's about it. He stopped liking it years ago. And my sister wants to play, but she keeps having me fight the bosses for her (that's how she made it out of the Great Deku Tree). In fact, I honestly think my cat knows more about Zelda than anyone else in my family.

My mom bought the first Zelda game we ever had, and was the first one to make a "Link" character. She also got A Link to the Past and played that (and beat it). Yeah, I guess my mom is a Zelda fan.

My mom only plays the portable games. I mean, she never minds going through Minish Cap, Spirit Tracks or Phantom Hourglass (the only Zelda games she's not afraid of playing for some reason...) but used to shake at the mention of OoT. She only played Wind Waker, as far as I can remember, but she never finished the main quest, only got far enough to get all the heart pieces and complete pretty much every side quest except the figurines. Seriously, she always seemed to like the exploring aspect better.

She has a monthly habit of 100-ing the games I mentioned. Funny that the console games always seemd to scare the heck out of her, though...no, wait, she also fonished both quests in the classic nes series edition of Legend of Zelda for some reason.

So, yeah, my mom kinda italks Zelda. She's finished some of the games but always forgets the names of the characters.

My mom strictly knows it as "Zelda" and nothing more xD When she comes on the computer and sees ZeldaDungeon up, all she says is "Zelda again?". She likes the music, she loves the graphics (she thinks Wind Waker is "so cute" while Twilight Princess is "wow, how do they make it so real?!"). Sometimes I try to explain it to her . . . but I feel she'll never understand. She thinks video games are evil in the first place, except for the sports ones and Animal Crossing
Maybe seeing Skyward Sword's beauty mixed with it's beautiful music will convince her to give it a try!

My mom doesnt even know who Zelda is, now that i asked. She told me "The green one!"

When i tried to explain that in almost EVERY Zelda game, im saving her, she gave me a blank face and said "Oh." I continued to show her pictures of Zelda from most of the games, and each time she said "That's not Zelda. Zelda is the green one." -_-
