I bought an original NES and was wondering if I can save my progress on Super Mario Bros 1, 2, and/or 3? I know some game cartridges had a battery inside for saving, but do these have that option?
I'm unsure about Super Mario Bros. 3.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Mario_All-StarsThe most notable addition is a save feature: all games now allow the player to save their status at any point in the game. Upon restarting the game, the player will begin at the first level of the world they saved in, with the exception of Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels,
By the way, I hope you didn't buy an original NES just to play the original Super Mario Bros... it's available on the Virtual Console on the Wii now, which is just as good, if not better.
