Bowsette may not exist but there was a Bowsette-like design of Peach in the Odyssey concept art.

I don't think there was ever any real hope of Bowsette finding her way to a Mario game, because Nintendo trying to make use of a fan character would create all sorts of messes they don't need to deal with.

That’s old news. Also good. The original comic was funny but it spiraling out of control and becoming nothing more than porn material for neckbeards was agonizing to deal with.
