Breath of the Wild BOTW Question

I am playing botw using the cartage and using the cloud as a gameplay backup. can I get the digital version and can I use my saved back up to continue playing?

I'm pretty sure you can if your data is backed up and tied to the same nintendo account. You might wanna email nintendo support to be sure.
