Alrighty here, so here's the place to suggest our first book we'll be reading!

I suggest we read Murder On The Orient Express by Agatha Christie.

Feel free to suggest any book you want

I would be willing to read that book. I think I got assigned to read that for summer reading one semester, purchased the book, but then never read it because the teacher told us it was for extra credit, and I didn't need the credit.

My suggestion would be How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. I know it's in a completely different category, but self-help books like that tend to be the sort of thing I usually read. I haven't really read it yet, because it's the kind of book that really seems to lend itself well to a book club style format rather than just reading on your own. With other people to help you absorb what you're learning, etc.

"And Then There Were None" is the best book of all time to me, and I wouldn't miss out on another classic from Agatha Christie. ALthough I do prefer mysteries without detectives, which is one reason why I liked And Then There Were None so much.

If someone's already read it, I don't think it would be that fair to have them reread it, and I think we'd all like to read something new, but if you're ok with it, we'll keep it as an option

I've read like forty Agatha Christie books (no joke) so it might be kinda hard to find one I haven't read.

I have a pretty good memory though so I could give thoughts on it the same as everyone else.

Distopian novels. anyone? I've been dying for an excuse to read 1984... not like I should need an excuse. I'm just that poorly motivated.

I haven't read 1984 but it's always been one of those books that I've always meant to get around to kinda like lord of the flies
