Best 'mech' anime/manga

Macross Frontier. The battles are pure eye candy, and the music is incredible. The love triangle I could do without, however.

I really want to watch Macross Frontier but i cant get the dvds in my country and i cant do online streaming...

I'm watching a lot of Evangelion, the rebuild movies are rather crap compared to the original series but they look pretty.

Eva has to have the scariest mechs ever though.... some of it is just downright terrifying.
