As a lot of you know, I moderate on the website 'The Escapist'. I found this article that one of the contributers wrote in the archive, and figured some of you feel the same about Navi from OoT. Enjoy!

I was just reading this on my Kindle this morning. I found it really interesting. I 100% agree that Navi is not just an annoying sidekick, but a real friend.

I really don't understand the whole concept of hating on Navi because she is a really great sidekick who teaches you how to do things and even reteachs them if you forget. If you have a question then ask her or when you discover something new she will always give you details on the item or enemy. I'd rather much have her as a sidekick than nobody at all because if you didn't have someone with a wide variety of knowledge then you would constantly get stuck or even cheat to get by! She is basically Links conscience.
