Are You Able to Carry Around More Shields

In ss i was wondering if you could carry more than one shield and change them

Yes you can, however you have to buy them and have enough space in your Adventure Pouch to achieve such a feat. Each shield runs on its own upgrade level, so you can have a Sacred Shield as well as a Banded Shield. You can upgrade the Banded shield without affecting the Sacred Shield and vice versa. Also, you can store extra shields in the Item Storage back in Skyloft.

Yes, you can, but I recommend getting the Hylian Shield so the other three become obsolete. You can't get the HS until much later in the game, though, and you have to fulfill a challenge given to you by the Thunder Dragon (not telling what it is, find out for yourself. )

Yes you can. You store the Shields in the Adventure Pouch with Bottles and Medals. And you can switch them too.

It is no challenge once you've mastered the game in every respect. Also, since you would ideally have the best sword at that point of the game, a couple of the challenges are cakewalks if you know how to block well and stay on your toes. All in all, gaining the Hylian Shield isn't as hard as it is generally made out to be, you just need to be quick and fleeting.
