My Top 5 Favorite Video Games Of All Time (only one per video game franchise):

5. Kindgom Hearts
This game has an in-depth storyline and amazing gameplay. There are tons of moves and spells, areas to explore, and unlockable secrets and bosses. It's a very long game, and it doesn't get boring for a minute. Even though the game is about darkness destroying worlds and ruining lives, the Disney characters help maintain a light atmosphere throughout the game. My main gripe with this game is the controls, which feel stiff at times.

4. Animal Crossing City Folk
What can't you do in this game? Nothing! You can customize your own house, catch bugs and fish, travel to the city, and a ton of other things. There's just so much to do, it never ends! Literally, the game continues until you run out of memory. It's not much of an improvement over Wild World, but it does combine the best of the past two games, which are great as well.

3. Super Mario Galaxy
Probably the best platformer on the Wii, it is only rivaled by its sequel. With perfect controls, beautiful scenery, diverse levels, balanced difficulty, and an amazing soundtrack, the only thing this game has that it's sequel doesn't is the nostolgia of playing it on Christmas with my cousins. Seriously, every time I play this game, I feel just as wowed as I did the first time I played it.

2. Metroid Zero Mission
This one was a difficult choice, but this I had to choose this game eventually since it has the best control or physics and the best exploration of any Metroid game, even Super Metroid and Metroid Prime. It's also my favorite remake, and characters from the manga even make a cameo.

1. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Again, an extremely difficult choice. There are so many games in the Zelda series, but I could only choose one! I think the reason this is my favorite, though, is because of the immense size of the two worlds, the amount of items and secrets, and the epic storyline. But let me tell you, a bunch of other Zelda games came really close.

It was quite difficult, had to miss out GTA: San Andreas, Pokemon Diamond, Jak II: Renegade, Bioshock, Portal 1 & 2. I guess they swap around with time though. The only reason TES: Skyrim wasn't on there is that I have yet to acquire my own copy, I'm waiting until after my exams so I don't destroy any chance I have of getting good grades.
