Any Favorite Music Artists OUTSIDE of the US?

Well I'm a total weab so I like a lot of music from Japan. Including, but not limited to:

Judy and Mary
The Pillows
Asian Kung Fu Generation
Maximum the Hormone
YUI
High and Mighty Color

From outside the US and Japan, um, I dunno. Rush. They're Canadian. Flight of the Conchords are from New Zealand... I dunno.

most of my favorite bands are Canadian, woohoo.
I love Arkells, Sam Roberts Band, Down with Webster, Tokyo Police Club, and the Tragically Hip, just to name a few. From outside of Canada I'm a fan of a lot of Brit stuff like the Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, etc. I also love M83 and Daft Punk, both from France.

Those are just some of the various artists I have music from in my iTunes library. Most of them are bands/singing groups, but the last four are composers. They're my favorite composers, actually. Among them, Yasuharu Takanashi is my favorite. He's my favorite composer period. Out of the bands I listed, L'Arc~en~Ciel is my favorite. They're also my current favorite music group.
