Okay, so.. I continued with this game after I had previously given up. One thing that I am still in need to find is the Zora water fall. I heard that it'll give you an upgrade on your sheild and sword?

I'm going to assume you mean for the Great Fairy, and not the area to get the Flippers. Either way, here's a link to a map, which is probably the best way to explain it to you.

You'll want to go to the Red Boomerang in the top-right hand corner. Throw the Blue Boomerang in, and your Lv 1 Shield. And say Yes when she asks if you threw them in. You can also throw in empty Bottles to get free Green Medicine. Which heals your magic. Hope this helps.
