Oh, of course. By no means did I mean that he's the only one who acts like that. However from my experience, Josh does it the most and further into the game than most people. Like people who troll a little bit on Day 1 and take it more seriously later on. Until Josh starts taking it seriously, he's not much of a help at all. :/

I'm honestly not sure what to make of your post here, Key. This isn't your scum meta at all, so I'm not really suspicious, but it's not your normal meta either. You've never played like this; I'm a little thrown off. Bottom line is, if you make a comment to someone accusing them, expect them to post in defense. That's how people play Mafia.
Axle, what's going on you just blew up at me. Now flipping around like you are playing mafia again.

Of course. Action on Day 1 is crucial, even if the target most likely flips town. Just don't take your leads that seriously this early in the game, because statistically speaking you're probably wrong regardless of who it is you're voting for.

I definitely think you're reading too much into Xinn and Thareous, but we'll see. I'll give their previous posts a glance over in a bit. Right now I'm comfortable with my vote on Erebea.

You are right that statistically speaking my vote will probably hit a town, assuming I was voting randomly and/or was bad at detecting scum. And I'm sure for the most part you are just stating your opinion, but the way it reads is as a piece of advice, and some will take it as such consciously or subconsciously, so it's an influence on the game. My thinking is that if you are good at finding scum (which I'm not claiming to be) then you can probably detect a lot of them based on their first day behaviour. And thinking too much is better than thinking too little, at least you are engaged with the game and are more likely to notice scumtells.

I think Xinn, Thareous and Erebea are all good people to vote for at this stage, anyhow.

Keyshe, you are being quite serious, but I haven't seen odd behaviour from you.

Also worth remembering that the last time Axle was mafia in this game nobody suspected him. We just got lucky because he hammered a bandwagon and got killed because of the lynchee's role.

Uh serious as in not being silly or actually thinking every post is DEFINITELY at face value and no chance is just innocent spam posts?

I have though, even the two when he was third party and I was scum too. The only game I didn't was when we were mafia together.

You seem to be targeting quite a few people, getting their minds all our minds on what they'd be. Meanwhile, I see it as directing the attention away from you. That, to me, gives off an air of Mafia deception.

I didn't really understand the underlined part, but I thought it prudent to comment on all that's gone on in the last couple of page;, a lot's happened since I last posted. Coming from a guy who flip-flopped to and fro without particularly good reasoning I find your comments ironic, especially from somebody who usually displays good logic. That, to me, gives off an air of Mafia deception.

Also worth pointing out that scum tend to specialise in shorter posts directed at one thing. The less you type, the less chance you have to slip up. Not an unbreakable rule, mind.

Thareous's behavior is really throwing me off, namely that he seems a tad overly defensive at being called out for first day nonsense, and then proceeds to basically vote almost haphazardly. He seems to be trying a bit too hard to defend himself. FoS right there.

By the way Xin, um did you crumb your character's name or am I miss reading that?
I...am not understanding your question ^_^;;

Blasted mind-boggling typo, but fixed it means you aim to turn us against each other, make us greatly suspicious of one another while you slip through undetected.

Flip-flopping actually makes more sense than pointing out the inconsistencies of several people, especially when it comes the beginning day. But it appears we're past that phase, so there is no harm in growing serious. There you have good reason, as quite a few of us have partaken in moved on from the preliminary silliness.

I hold to my vote.

Ya, I suppose that's true. I dunno, I'm not personally ready to vote for him yet, but I am curious to see his response. Especially considering he's yet to post more than once.

I partially agree. I think that, more than looking at their behavior on Day 1, it's usually Day 1, 2, and 3 that are the most indicative. It's the change in behavior, or lack thereof, that gives the most solid indication of wrongness with a player, IMO. Aside from looking for who's hiding, that is, but that's also best gleaned from looking at them over a period of time.

And ya, fair enough. Just giving my thoughts on individual accusations. That said, I think I'm with you now....

What attention away from him? When did Jimmy have negative attention on him in the first place? He doesn't have any reason to take attention off himself, and he's doing the opposite by leveling accusations. While I disagree with some of his targets, he is playing the game legitimately. I think your reaction is suspicious.

Keyshe has told me that she would like to be replaced. I'll send out a PM to the replacements we have and whoever responds first gets in.

Majora's Cat responded in like, two minutes, so he will be replacing Keyshe.

Same could be said of the townies, as their goal is to stay alive as well. The only kind of player I can think of who'd want to be lynched is a Jester role, and that's a cheap-shot role that I'm inclined to believe Austin would have the kindness to not include in this round. P.sure Josh is just being, well, Josh. At any rate, I think the bandwagon on him is silly so....

Seriously though, I don't mind getting rid of Josh whether he's scum or not. He's detrimental to the Town either way. However, I would be wary of the possibility of a Bomb or Jester. For now I will FoS: Josh, and if nothing else changes, I will probably make that a vote.

Definitely scum. Trying to use my trollish attitude to try and kill me off since she knows I'm not scum and there's no better way to kill me off.

Oh, and by the way, I've been serious about this thread since the moment I opened it. Not my fault if you don't realize it.

Potential attention. Nobody's targeted him yet, and he's played very legitimately, that's true. But he's making people suspicious of others while he moves along, uncontested. It is an obscure thought, I understand, but one worth noting I think. And to borrow your term, he's doing it by leveling accusations toward the targets he mentioned beforehand. Nothing questionable in and of itself in that respect, but Mafia is a game about deception and it's best all routes are covered, such as this.

personally, I always had this odd feeling about Thareous. Something seems off, and i personally dont like how he keeps moving back and forth with his votes. Vote: Thareous
