Does anyone know if the multiplayer requires both players to have it, or does it work with download play?

i seen this on the home page with all the news, but it said it goes on sale Feb.2nd, however when i checked my facebook, a friend of mine said that it was for free. LOL i love how all my facebook friends post Zelda stuff on my timeline cuz im a know Zelda Fanatic. i would have never know had she not told me.

So anyways this is great, i wish i had someone to play it with, but oh well, its still pretty fun, ive already found an enemy that you and your partner link need to pull the stunned enemy from each side to split it in half to kill it. Genius design, why hasnt this game got a good update yet, i think it could work in future titles. anyways, thanks for the heads up. Now if only MC was available and i would have every Handheld Zelda game downloaded on my Zelda Edition 3DS

Yea both players must have their own copy of the game if you want to play multiplayer. You can play single player and you will be able to control two Links from the four. I still believed that the game would have been more enjoyable if there was online play implemented into the game.

I thought I wouldn't have an opportunity to play this game, so I'm really excited about it! And you can't beat a price like that. (Though I would have made sure to get it anyway, even if it weren't free). I can hardly wait to start playing it, ahhh : D

My 3DS is in the mail, coming back from being repaired.
I may not be able to get it >.<
And I have three siblings who all have 3DSs and have downloaded it!
