It was pretty cloudy here in Chicago as well as in Carbondale where there was a total eclipse in Illinois. But at least the darkening of the sky was there.
We got 100% coverage. Unfortunately my phone couldnt get enough detail for a good picture. All it saw was a yellow ball, even during the total eclipse.
I believe I was in an 80% coverage area, but I went out with my dad and we took some welding masks to get a good look. It was pretty neat to see it pass by.
I got to see it at 90% from the parking lot of the doctor's office. There was quite a bit of cloud cover obscuring the view for all the people with the viewing glasses, but my box thing projected the shape through the clouds for me pretty well.
