    Why doesn't Ganon need the Triforce of Courage?

    In the intro of the 1989 cartoon, Zelda shows Link the Triforce of Wisdom and says the evil wizard Ganon has the Triforce of Power, and that whoever gets both triforces will rule this land forever. Why are only two out of three needed?
