I wasn't going to watch it anyway, but my impressions have been more or less the same from the start of when we got info at all. It just looks decent at best. The voices really kill it for me.
Good direct.
I'm mixed on Fire Emblem: Engage for a few reasons. The art style and character designs remind me heavily of Fates, Heroes, and the first Warriors game. I don't care much for that at all, but it's what it is. Also not happy about the return of the same kind of hub world...
Persona on Switch is cool for fans. Maybe I'll finally play one of the games now that they're on there.
Most interesting to me is Harvestella. Looks like one of the first games I've seen to try to match what Rune Factory does, at a glance anyway. The visual style is lovely. Gonna keep my eye on...
>Three Houses Warriors
>Mario Strikers
>Klonoa Collection
>MK8DX DLC
Not to mention Kirby, Triangle Strategy, and Advance Wars, which have already been announced, of course.
Very good Direct. Strong first half of 2022, if you ask me.
It was an 'aight Direct.
3D Kirby actually looks heccin fun.
MH Rise expansion is nice. About time they announced new content.
Chocobo cart is cute.
AoC DLC actually looks interesting enough now.
N64 online is nice, but I'm curious as to what the pricing will be.
Anything else I already...
Project Triangle Strategy, SSHD (with button controls), RPG Mario Golf, MonHun Rise, AoC DLC, and more...
This was a good direct. I'm very happy with it.
If we get some BotW2 news and a WWHD port, I'll be happy. Anything else would just be a bonus for me, although I would be very interested to see if Metroid Prime Trilogy finally sees its way to Switch. I doubt it, but you never know.
I had already been hesitating about whether or not I'd pick it up, but knowing more about it now is enough for me to pass on it. I may consider it at some point if it ever goes on sale, but likely not even then. A bit of extra content isn't enough for me to repurchase a game I've already 100%'ed.

Speculation at best, but who knows? This could confirm the Direct people have been hinting at for late July.
