That’s like saying that WW had the earth temple, so it can’t be bright and cheery. Plus the entirety of the fused shadow cutscene is definitely one of the most needlessly edgy things in not just Zelda, but all of gaming.

I was surprised by the art style too, but I think it looks freaking adorable, and honestly, what did we expect? The original game and more so the DX remake already used this style, just in 8 bit form. But I can understand people disliking the shading. I personally like it, but that’s just me.
