Axiom Verge Fantastic game. Easily the best metroidvania I’ve played that doesn’t have the word “Metroid” in the title. Hell I’d go as far as saying it’s better than most actual Metroid games. 9/10

Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze: Definitely an improvement over Returns, though I wouldn’t go as far as to call it “one of the greatest 2D platformers ever” like I’ve seen so many others say. It’s a pretty good game, but doesn’t feel nearly as good to control as most 2D Mario’s. 7/10.
