In OoT (and MM I think too), the fact that the Gossip Stones do different things depending on what you hit them with.

One of my favorites is in MM. When you use the telescope and look around Termina field, you see random guys like hanging out of trees or in the grass areas like throwing their arms around, it's always amusing.
