I believe I know what you are talking about. Although it shows you got rupees, but has no thread to go with it, it's because those rupees are for a thread that was already in your notifications when you looked.

TBH I think that that's not necessary. As it is, rupees aren't a big part in the site, and are barely an incentive. A badge or something is a much better incentive, like you were also saying.

I didn't think you were talking about me, because I never made this thread, and I only got 1000 rupees. Besides, 90% were Zelda questions, which actually help this community.

I mean, if someone made 100 threads, then they are clearly an active member, and being productive to the ZD community. Rupees are rewards for being a good citizen of ZD, although I do not approve of completly random/innappropriate threads like the booger one.

That's not really a problem. Just ignore that section of the forums, since you have to scroll pretty far down to get to it anyway...
