I used addblock plus to block the emotes. This was before the block thing was added. I don't see codes. Just the names of people who post and no emotes. Looks a bit odd sometimes but it works.

The thing I do when I don't like an emote or theme is simply not using it. I blocked the emotes and I simply use another theme. Why going on a warpath to get things removed if you can simply decide to not use it??

Hmm I think it is nothing more than fair to indeed give competition leaders who are non-mods more powers. That way it is easier for them to open/close stick/unstick their threads and able to hand out awards themselves without asking a mod everytime to do this.

I want to make it clear sign ups are NOT a must. You are free to use them if you want but it is not a MUST.

I happen to agree with you about some members really posting way too depressive things. And some posts do scare me a bit. Maybe a split?

Me neither Djinny. I never have these annoying adds at all. Isaac you must use Adblock Plus. This is a plugin you can add to FF or Chrome and you won't have these annoying adds anymore. On IE ABP doesn't work well but I never liked IE that much anyway.

I like the idea of having one customized badge under the username. Of course not any existing staff badge but like Sir Q and Vanadium have Team Flare and Termy too.

That is something for the unfair infractions topic. There you can discuss if you agree or disagree with a decision taken by the mods or admins

Guys of course a few pixels over the limit is not a problem. If someone has a size like 265 px in height it is not an issue. It is more like those sigs which are extremely oversized. Like 300 or 400 pixels and up. This is often caused by text and spoiler tags. It's not a bad thing to have those...

I personally would rather see one spoiler tag than 2,3 or more though. Or rather one line of text. Large signatures makes it harder to scroll down because some really slow down a pc.

And who says they don't get infracted after being warned several times? Sometimes the users with the large signatures aren't always that active or don't post a lot so when someone is replying to a thread with many replies it's easy to overlook that person with the large signature. If you notice...

You can subscripe to a thread so in that case you always will get notifications when someone replies to the thread. And you won't miss it when they tag you in a post

My siggy is 200 by 500 so that doesn't make it 270 or something. Text underneath is allowed when it is like this. It is more like the oversized signatures with tons of text

As far as I can tell I haven't seen anybody being infracted or warned for an oversized signature in a long time. It is more that people add tons of text above or under a pic or add like many spoiler tags in it

How do you know the users have not been warned? There are plenty of users being warned in the past and very recent past but if members didn't or don't change their signatures right away it is not something we can control.

To be honest I've seen members with a rank spamming the General Discussion section on a regular base. I agree with Kitsu though. Although it is not that hard to obtain a rank it is not a good reason to get a rank only to gain access to the forum special features. A rank should be obtained out...

Oh I have heard complains from some people about others reading their convo's. This is something we can't prevend though. People can either turn the visibility off and on. I personally don't really care about a like system for VM's. I would turn the feature off in the settings if it was available

You can subscribe yourself to threads. If you do you will get notifications when someone replied. Most people don't subscribe though. I personally wouldn't like it to get notifications of all threads created and the replies

Well there is the search option you could use. Just simply type in a keyword and see what will pop up. I can understand when you see a topic which is very old you create a new topic about the subject but sometimes there are two exactly the same threads on the same page

That's why we have the search option and even advanced search options. If we would have a single forum for each game it would be extremely huge. That is not an option. We had a couple of seperated forums in the past and like Djinn said people got confused.

You can simply see this by going to your settings HoT. I think for people who get a lot of rep (pos or bad) it can get annoying to get a notification.
