I can confirm that as I managed to do the glitch this morning after the update was installed.

I've managed to activate this glitch about 4 times now. It's not easy to pull off though and I guess it's mostly down to luck. I used Lana's Summoning Gate and went on the adventure map where you fight two Gohmas within the time limit. I basically stunned him with the arrow then summoned Argorok...
