    Hyrule's Geography

A different kingdom altogether, yes. Midna even menetions the interlopers had their own king.

    Hyrule's Geography

That is a popular theory as well. My theory is that the Dark Interlopers came from a foreign region. To interlope means to thrust into affairs not pretaining to you. It could be argued they just didn't belong in the Sacred Realm, but I think they had no business being in Hyrule at all.

    Hyrule's Geography

I still have doubts about a Twili and Gerudo connection. Wouldn't Ganondorf know that the Twili are his own people who tried helping him? Besides, the Twili invasion of the Sacred Realm seems to likely have occured during the pre Hyrule Unification war era.

    Hyrule's Geography

The Dark world is just another name for the Evil Realm, and in ALttP it was only created because Ganon obtained the whole Triforce. This wasn't the case on the Child Timeline. The Dark World resembles Hyrule in almost every way, The Twilight Realm has nothing in common with Hyrule.

    Hyrule's Geography

Yes, it is in western Hyrule. As for the Twilight Realm and Dark World, they can't be the same. The Dark world is just a twisted and evil representation of the Sacred Realm created by Ganon.

    Hyrule's Geography

Took me long enough. The Gamecube version has altered dialogue from the Wii version. If you go around Hyrule Castle Town as Wolf Link in the Wii version people will say Lake Hylia is in Eastern Hyrule. In the Gamecube version, however, the dialogue says it is in Western Hyrule. And since the...

    Hyrule's Geography

They say Lake Hylia is in eastern Hyrule in TP, I don't recall that?

    Hyrule's Geography

I'm looking at TP's map, in the unmirrored format. I've shifted my view of it a few times. If you look at the map with the orientation that Death Mountain is "north", some places line up exactly as where they were in OoT. The Kokiri Forest must be deduced to be in the southeast, but in TP it...

    Hyrule's Geography

Yes, Lake Floria is in BotW, so is Lake Hylia.

    Hyrule's Geography

I do think Hyrule has grown by incorperating new areas to its boundaries in TP. Those areas may even had been part of the Kingdom during OoT but they weren't accessible. I too have thought about considering TP's map in a different orientation, later today, after work, I'll check out TP's map...

    Hyrule's Geography

I had the Gamecube version in mind. An expansion of Zora's Domain wouldn't really explain how it could be located in the east, but years later it's in the north. I'm actually wondering if it would be possible if an earthquake occured, Death Mountain is, afterall, an active volcano and it's...

    Hyrule's Geography

Earlier today, on the Shoutbox, some members and I got into a debate about Hyrule's geography inbetween Skyward Sword and Ocarina of Time. Eldin Volcano likely became Death Mountain. The Kokiri Forest is undoubtedly part of the Faron Woods. The Lanayru Desert being renamed the Gerudo Desert. And...
