In my opinion I would buy Super Mario All Stars for the SNES. It contains Super Mario 1+2+3+Lost Levels+Super Mario World. If you can't find that, then buy Super Mario Wolrd. If you have some spare money to buy, I suggest you'd get Super Mario 64(the n64 version) and Galaxy as well

Galaxy or 64, not quite sure:P, And mario rpg is awesomeness:P...I don't like Paper Mario, though
