    (OLD) Contest Unfair Infractions Here

You're extrapolating a lot from that statement.

When did I say we regularly mock DM?

Hard to say we target DM when he has one zero-point warning since at least the xenforo switchover 6 months ago and nothing else.

    (OLD) Contest Unfair Infractions Here

It's literally a zero point infraction, in fact publicly the staff said we'd implement such a policy and try to handle the innapropiatness better. That's what we're doing. Kitsu brought this up in staff chat and no one disagreed. Not to mention similar behaviour has been discussed for several...

I don't think you always need a consensus to SB ban. In general it's what we do for any infraction or even warning, but it's not always practical because we aren't always online at the same time. Sometimes it's obvious a ban is needed as well. I do agree it should be handled with a verbal...

While I understand, how is it enforceable? Not saying Kitsu would, but he could delete Locke, he could even delete Mases if he wanted too.

He can give himself mod powers if he wanted too. He could literally delete the entire site in 5 minutes or less. There is no way to make a distinction in any practical matter. You are all asking for a completely empty gesture that is literally meaningless from the tech side of things.

    (OLD) Contest Unfair Infractions Here

It is physically impossible for there to be a distinction. I don't understand how this isn't an accepted fact.

    (OLD) Contest Unfair Infractions Here

It's impossible to do. There is no practical way to do it, if you have access to the entire tech side of the site the distinction them becomes nothing but a formality that can't be put into practice. Rep and Kitsu could literally delete the site if they wanted, let alone give themselves mod powers.

DM has a history of this, it isn't new. He isn't a bad person but he makes people uncomfortable like this often, and has a way of baiting people as described above. Maybe it was too much but he deserved a warning at least. The fact is, for a long time trollish and rude behavior has been...

Considering Admins can GIVE THEMSELVES privileges, maintaining a distinction between the two is stupid. Besides, as you said, your privileges are the same as all other admins.

It was always an imaginary distinction.

Whether Kitsu went to far is debatable, but he is coming from the right place. There are certain members here who are bent on his destruction as admin because he disagrees with some of the long standing issues on the site. Kitsu is one of the best admins we have had in some time, he actually...

    (OLD) Contest Unfair Infractions Here

This whole thing has gotten insanely heated. I don't even know what the hell happened, it's just accusations back and forth. The common ground here is that clans seem to be a decent idea to explore, lets just go from there see what we can work out. We don't have to accept it right away or...

I would say the majority of those infections last night were not worth an infraction, and was clearly Sir Quaffler and a personal mission of vengeance. Sad if that is the type of thing that ZD wants to be.
