I think I can fix the timeline so that the new revelations in TotK do not contradict the lore of the past games.

I'd still rather have it be another alternate timeline. Especially given the fact that many other factors of the game contradict the other game facts. For example, the sheer lack of the Four Sword even being in the games. So many other legacy weapons have made their return, so why has that not...

I think I can fix the timeline so that the new revelations in TotK do not contradict the lore of the past games.

I don't see how it does not cause a timeline split? Zelda with her powers and memories of Hylia restored can meddle with time and not cause a timeline split, instead retroactively making changes to the past that affect the present singular timeline; as evident by the existence of both Zelda's...

I think I can fix the timeline so that the new revelations in TotK do not contradict the lore of the past games.

Can you explain the discrepancy as to how Zelda's Amber she is sealed within can exist prior to Link's arrival to the surface and Zelda's initial time travel back into the past then? Because as I understand it she has awakened her powers and memories of Hylia by the time she ventures into the...

I think I can fix the timeline so that the new revelations in TotK do not contradict the lore of the past games.

........Nintendo hasn't made an announcement of a departure from the established lore. They have always written contradictory statements in their games because each game has been made with the idea of it being focused on the localized arc rather than an overarching timeline of events. The...

I think I can fix the timeline so that the new revelations in TotK do not contradict the lore of the past games.

Odd. Still, it makes no sense in TotK's logic. Because the statement that the games of BotW/TotK/HW-AoC take place eons after the events of the other games; other games that are now considered legend by the era 10,000 years prior to the gameplay events of BotW, is a highly contradictory...

But is that a translation error where they meant to say resurrected but the process of carrying over to English and western cultural localization accidentally created a false context? I've never played FSA because that required four friends IRL who liked Zelda so that was a no go.

I think I can fix the timeline so that the new revelations in TotK do not contradict the lore of the past games.

Thing is though is that Zelda is not reborn. Link eternally reincarnates. Zelda is just the name given to pretty much all the girls born in the Hyrule royal family, it is the Divine Power of Hylia that is passed down through the generations. As for Ganondorf reincarnating? He never has before...

I think I can fix the timeline so that the new revelations in TotK do not contradict the lore of the past games.

I would have to re-read those tablets to see if they make an actual mention to the Hero of Time or just if it is referring to a Hero in general. In the lore the Twilight realm was always a thing. It was just never really relevant outside of the events of Twilight Princess. So it makes sense...

I think I can fix the timeline so that the new revelations in TotK do not contradict the lore of the past games.

The Imprisoning War of TotK most likely takes place during an era that runs parallel to the timeframe that Ocarina of Time's story, seeing that Ganondorf is born and covets Hyrule's Power. OoT has Ganondorf seeking the Triforce. TotK has Ganondorf seeking . So technically if OoT takes place in...

I think I can fix the timeline so that the new revelations in TotK do not contradict the lore of the past games.

Well, they did at least give two ****s about it, seeing as Hyrule Historia presented the Timeline and the Zelda Encyclopedia presented an updated version to include a couple of the newer releases since 2011. And those were the only two ****s they seem to have really given it since then. I...

I think I can fix the timeline so that the new revelations in TotK do not contradict the lore of the past games.

It honestly has to be very jarring for newer players who played Skyward Sword HD, getting to see the introduction of many details of the lore; and then suddenly TotK contradictions many known statements. And no, this was not a theory. There is an accidental timeline split that went unnoticed by...

I think I can fix the timeline so that the new revelations in TotK do not contradict the lore of the past games.

= = = SPOILERS FOR TEARS OF THE KINGDOM = = = Read At Your Own Discretion Okay. So Tears of the Kingdom has Zelda go FAR into the past to very founding of Hyrule, and the information gleaned from the flashbacks has plenty of details hard contradicting the narrative of the main...
