Iron Boots.
Diving
If there are underground segments we MUST have an ability that allows us to traverse under-water like in many of the previous games.
Imagine having to require some form of iron boots in order to open a sunken wooden chest that is under the water?
Imagine finding secret areas...
That would almost make no sense, seeing as people were going about their day when suddenly the skies went dark, a giant demon pig appeared out of nowhere, and all you can see of Link would be the origin-points of where the Arrows of Light were coming from.
Knowing Nintendo wanting to have Link...
PREDICTION !!!
Link and Zelda cannot defeat Ganondorf and in a last ditch effort they do the Dragonball Fusion pose, merging their power and souls to become Linkle and defeat Ganondorf once again.
Every Zelda game following the timeline henceforth will then feature Linkle as the protagonist...
I want the ability to use the Song of Storms and the Sun's Song in order to affect the weather to either call upon rain/snow or clear the skies.
Because climbing in the rain is bad.
You know what would be cool?
Given all the Amiibo support that BotW featured, how cool would it be to have TotK give us cosmetic items for other Nintendo games?
Imagine Link getting the ability to dress up as Ike, Roy, Marth, and Crom by using the Smash Bros Amiibos?
I dunno, the attire of Ordonians would match up pretty well visually with the new toga-tunic that Link is rocking.
Asymmetrical and allowing the deformed arm to be showcased.
I predict that the Amiibos will give you the same stuff as in BotW but will ALSO grant you these new items -
TP Link Amiibo
Ordonian Set (replicating Link's Ordonian attire from the prologue)
Ordon Sword
Ordon Shield
TP Zora Tunic Set
TP Magic Armor
SS Link Amiibo
Skyloftian Set...
I mean, enhancing the Master Sword was made into a DLC for BotW.
This would be something a bit more akin to the Champion's Ballad, wherein we get to have a side-story involving main characters with the end reward being a beautiful cutscene and a misc item of sentimental value.
I hope that The Magic Sword will be a usable weapon that Link can use as a pseudo-replacement for the Master Sword until the actual Master Sword is able to be restored somewhat.
I just thought of something...
How will the towns be affected by this sudden surge of Calamity?
So... here are my predictions.
Hateno
I would be doubtful of any major changes other than some defenses added around the village and guards stationed around here-and-there. I would imagine its more...
Perhaps Demise will be released from the broken Master Sword, his essence entering into Ganondorf and allowing the Demon King to become whole once again, and this game will finally allow Link to break Demise's curse by actually slaying the Demon King rather than sealing him away??
My guesses for some gameplay alterations, minor or major; whatever.
1 - Inventory Upgrades System
Nintendo will hopefully make it so Korok Seeds are still a collectible, but not required for inventory upgrades.
Instead, I hope that they would make it so that Inventory Upgrades are done through...
Well..............................
The figure does possess rabbit like ears.
And well, we do know what Link turns into when he ventures into the Dark World.
I see Link&Midna does not like The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
You may "Ugh" all you want.
Doesn't change the fact that this...
No I am BETTING we meet this character sometime.
The stone mural work that was showcased as the title-card flowed in place showed that Zelda and this Zonai character were holding hands for something.
My guess is that Link will meet with this ancient Zonai character (though we probably won't...
I like how we all assume that the Zonai Figure is actually a character we know instead of possibly an entirely new character that will just be the main Zonai character of the game.
It could very well be a new character that allies with us.
Especially given the fact that Link now has a golden-arm-bangle thing that seems to be VERY Zonai in origin with how it is designed.
Perhaps the Sheikah and the Zonai collaborated in eons past?
I predict that the Zonai are the descendants of the people who remained in the sky.
Skyloftians evolved down two paths - The Oocca and the Zonai.
The Zonai structures seem to be the ones that are in the sky exclusively.
Perhaps all these Zonai structures fell to the surface, they assisted the...
