This type of behaviour goes against the forum rules. The very first section of the forum rules, in fact. I think a better course of action is to report whoever it is that acted this way.

You can link YouTube and other sites directly in your posts. Just access the media thingie and paste the YouTube link into it. When you then make the post the video will appear in it. ;)

I think the elephant in the room that everyone's graciously trying to tip-toe around for the most part is that for some reason many of the non-Mafia players here hold some kind of dislike for the Mafia sub-forum. There's been issues regarding this in the past and while it's been pretty calm...

Mafia games can include just as much discussion as a thread in the Mature Discussion section. So saying that they don't spark discussion is far from the truth. And if stories and other writing in the Creative Works section are counted then I see no reason why Roleplaying shouldn't be counted...

I do somewhat agree with Stitch on this. Why draw the line for Mafia and Roleplaying which are certainly productive in their own rights, but allow posts to count in the Picture Thread, Things That Are On Your Mind and Things That Annoyed You Today for example? Neither of those threads are Zelda...

I think that's a good idea! "Sign Ups" and "Game Thread" like in the Mafia section should work well and be an easy fix. :)

If you can add an opt-out option for the Mafia sub-forum, I'd like to request that all sub-forums are given the option of opting out of.

May be Creative Works or Creative Corner or something like that? Those are just some spontaneous thoughts though. Maybe there are better ideas. ^^

I just realised that the Fan Works sub-forum has a bit of a misleading name, don't you think? It makes it sound like it's restricted to fan fiction, fan art and whatnot when it's really there for all sorts of creative endeavours; fan works and original works.

If it's not too much trouble to impliment I also think it would be a neat mechanic to have around.

I just wanna get rid of the PM character limit. Seriously, what even is the reason for not being able to write longer messages there? It makes no sense to restrict it.

I'd like to suggest the removal of the character limit in VMs. And perhaps also the ability to like comments left on VMs. ^^
