I have literally just recovered from being sick for the last 3-ish months (Not Covid). Been great for the last 3 days. Developed a sore throat during the day yesterday and woke up this morning with more symptoms. So basically sick again. Unbelievable.
I keep scrolling to the bottom of the forum out of habit to see who's online. It's not like the really large side bar is clearly visible or anything...
I've been having problems connecting to the net today. It seems to be stable at the moment so hopefully it'll be more functional later today after I've slept.
Adjectives used as adverbs is a crime that has now reached epidemic proportions.
Also, I swear in the movie I watched earlier today, one of the characters said, "I could care less". I couldn't care less that you COULD care less.
I was in the middle of chatting to someone earlier today when a severe thunderstorm caused a power failure. Why do things like this only happen when you're enjoying yourself? And the power is still out nearly eight hours later.
I was making caramel and the 120ºC mixture splashed onto the corner of my finger. Applying first aid to my finger, the mixture then burnt. Today was not my day.
I spent the entire weekend doing too much nothing and now it´s early Monday morning and I still have no clear goal as to what I´m going to do later today after I´ve slept. That is assuming I actually fall asleep...
I'm annoyed at myself for sleeping in. Just when I think I've got my sleeping pattern back into some semblance of normality, I sleep through my alarm and wake up at 10AM. :/
It hasn't even been spring for one day and my computer has already overheated. Thank you inconsistent weather, can't wait to see what summer brings if it's already 28ºC today.
Every time today when I saw 運命 in lyrics but heard it pronounced with the reading さだめ (sadame) instead of うんめい (unmei). While it is a rather interesting convention of the Japanese language, it is annoying.
My hands are so dry that the skin on 3 of the knuckles on my left hand have randomly cracked open at various intervals today. This is one of the many reasons why I hate winter.
