They actually did learn from Skyward Sword, and they took out all of the terrible aspects of the Stamina bar that Skyward Sword had
1-They got rid of all of the intrusive beeping that the stamina meter in SS had
2-When the stamina bar is empty, Link does not pant around like an asthmatic nerd...
I actually find it hilarious that you can do nearly everything in Zelda BotW that you can do in Ubisoft's Steep.
Hangliding? Yes
Snowboarding? Yes
Climbing? Yes
That's pretty much all that steep is... Yet Zelda U does it in a more fun way, with an actual game wrapped behind it.... Hmmmmmmm
The VA only seems to be Link's voice in his head.
Though why is a stamina meter and breakable weapons such a bad thing that it ruins your excitement?
So long as it is excecuted well, unlike in SS, it is good. Just look at Shadows of the Collosus. That game was amazing and it had a stamina...
