The problem was and will always be abuse of the emotes, we used to have a lot more before the switch and they got heavily pruned because they'd get abused so often, even now certain emotes we have are easily spammed in large quantities. And in certain cases can break the site for some users.

we spent a year with those crappy emotes being spammed in SB so yeah not having them back would be nice. It's a little sus that a person not even here two months knows about those particular emotes seeing as no one speaks of them and all, even more suspicious is you trying to defuse suspicious...
