Brandon offers Lawliet a water bottle, then walks behind him as they follow his lead, keeping careful watch on the man in front of him. He worries a little, but there's only so much he can do for now. Maybe he'll talk to Lawliet tonight. Talking always helps him get his thoughts out... and...

Brandon notices Lawliet's paleness and walks over. He places a hand on his friend's shoulder, "How're you feeling?" there's concern in his voice. He knows that something's wrong, even if he really isn't sure what.

"It's a quote," Brandon tells Lizzie, his moment ruined, "From a video game. It seemed fitting. Let's just get moving," he walks quickly out the door, ready to be gone.

Brandon smiles. Finally a saying he can get behind. "Onward, Stanley," he quotes to himself, "To destiny."

((Also Woyos powers in themselves are fine. It's the specific rules about his powers that put him over the top. Even adding the aging thing makes him manageable. And who knows? That could turn into a plot point eventually))

Let's assume ten minutes later his time time is unfrozen and we were none the wiser. Brandon grabs his bag, "Ready to go whenever the rest of you are."

As long as logic is followed when things matter I dont care. I just want to make sure people are keeping track of those things early in the game. Brandon gets over his shock and eats.

A debate

We're just saying that it doesnt fit with the logic of the powers and the universe. If the universe breaks its own logic then there is no logic and there are no rules. A strong universe supports itself in every fashion. His powers are that he can move fast. Nothing else.

The logic astounds Brandon, who stares at the plate in wonder at the impossible pancakes

"Heh, lucky you," he leans against the wall. He'll try to sleep more, but he doesn't expect to do so. He has too much to think about.

While I don't mind Lawliet's mind dealing with grief as seems natural to it, I also don't know how much longer we can go on listening to some...

Brandon sits up suddenly at the exclamation, smacking his head on an overhang above him. Rubbing It, he watches the other go to sleep. For some reason, he can't get back to sleep. Seeing Val keeping watch, he scoots over next to him. Being sure that the others are all asleep, he finally speaks...

Brandon lays down as suggested. It is getting late. He's worried about Lawliet. He's convinced the man's going crazy. He can't accept everything that's happened, and has created this "boss", whatever they are, as a sort of guide. This could be very damaging in the future... moreso than it...

Brandon doesnt see the point in this. Especially since the group is just so volatile regarding their powers. He considers stating such, but decides to just make a passive-agressive comment on the matter, "Natural hypnotic suggestion," he reminds her, "As you all know."
