So I recently had a breakthrough in drawing dog and wolf faces, so while I still need some practice (Remember when I was really good at doing wolf bodies but not the heads? That's a bit reversed now lmao) before I tackle drawing my OCs, here's a little self portrait I did.

Rockruff. Wanted to do a full body picture but no ideas, might go back and finish it. Ears are a little bit too long but oh well.

Sobble finding a rare candy. Pleased with it, learned a couple things, but dang I should get better lighting for taking my pics.

I drew this on paper and used our new printer to scan it because there were some messy pencil lines and I didn't trust myself to color it right with pencils. It took me several hours, but I hope that any future digital art I do will be quicker because I spent a lot of time getting into a rhythm...

I'm very pleased with this, but I'm gonna shelf the concept and try again down the road when I'm really confident in my abilities, because I really want this to be good.

I'm doing the characters as Pokemon game on another forum, and someone requested Kanan Jarrus (He's a blind Jedi from a Star Wars cartoon) as Lucario. I almost wanted to just make this a normal Lucario.

A shiny Umberon appeared! The hair was an afterthought and it shows. She also has more of an angry look in the picture, it's a good one, but the drawing has more of an impish grin, which I was going for. There we go. A little derpy kinda but I still love the expression. I also need to work on...

I was just doing a drawing of the Fused Shadow helmet when this concept hit me, my next project is gonna really go all out with this. Maybe even a scene with Midna in it. Sans x Midna.

Heck yes I did. New sig time.[/S] Oh yeah btw Echo, I used your tip on layers of color for the bowtie. The first one I used was too brown, so I did another layer with my yellow, and look how it turned out.

Just some practicing on human figures. Made the torso much too large, didn't even wanna bother with hands or face. Probably gonna do some bust type drawings to get practice in that area. Faces are very hard, probably gonna look at some tutorials for that.

I did use a step by step tutorial for the face, but I've tried to avoid any sort of detailed walkthrough. I want my own artstyle, not someone else's.

Yes, I did use a reference picture. I tried to get it up here, but technical difficulties. Not even sure what happened. I am aware I push too hard with my pencil :lemmy: I will be sure to think about the kind of character I'm drawing next time too. I didn't really havr a character in mind this...

This was just a learning sketch, nothing I planned on sharing, but the head is so comically tiny on there I had to share it. I learned a lot of important things about drawing wolves drawing this, and I'm probably gonna do a few more before I get anything I feel like sharing again.

One of my favorite items in the Zelda series, the Hylian Shield. I've done some pretty solid doodles of this one and wanted to give it a full page treatment. It's kinda skinny, and I realized after the fact that the border isn't really golden. Maybe it's a special gift or something. Idk. Still...
