I've been on a bit of a re-binge of Undertale, but recently played through the entirety of Undertale Yellow, a fan-made prequel detailing the underground adventures of the human who fell in before Frisk. It's pretty good. Something about the writing isn't quite as charming and the monster fights...
After playing through Spider-Man 2 on PS5 I have circled back around to playing... Spider-Man (the PS4 one). While I really like the sequel, I can play the original on PC and install cool mods to improve the web-swinging and the combat. The swinging might be slower, but it's nice being able to...
I'm giving the new Spider-Man 2 a shot. The moment to moment gameplay is still great fun, but I worry about the inclusion of gliding. I feel like the vast distances you can cover with the new glide mechanic sort of hamper the fun of swinging.
I'm on my second playthrough of the Resident Evil 4 remake. I've been binging it since Friday and it's pretty fun. I'd describe it as Resident Evil 4 as I remember it, rather than RE4 actually is.
It looks super cool, but my playthrough is apparently bugged. D:
I've finished the game in impossible mode, but both the cool suit you get and the hand cannon aren't appearing for me. Apparently, it's not an uncommon bug on PC, but I was hoping it somehow wouldn't apply to me.
I've moved onto replaying the Dead Space remake. I finished my hard mode, plasma cutter only playthrough a week or two ago, but now I'm near the end of my impossible mode playthrough. It's hard mode, but with permadeath and a single save file. The reward is a one hit kill gun that takes the form...
I just finished playing Metroid Prime's remaster. By that I mostly mean that I stopped playing once I got to the endgame scavenger hunt. While I enjoyed the rest of the game, I just did not want to push through that endgame backtracking.
I've been playing a lot of Crusader Kings 3. It's a kingdom management sort of game, and my goal has been to reach incest as quickly as possible. Gotta keep it realistic. :eyes:
I've been playing a lot of Fall Guys with friends. I bought the game way back when and really liked it, but now it seems like everyone is jumping back into it with the free to play update.
Some friends and I have been playing a lot of Chivalry 2 on PC. It's a wild ride of battle cries and decapitations and I'm never quite sure i know what I'm doing, but it's a lot of fun.
I've been playing quite a bit of Fortnite with friends ever since we discovered that there's now a permanent zero building mode. Definitely makes it more enjoyable for me when it's all stripped down to shooting.
Been playing a lot of Halo 4 in the Master Chief Collection with some friends. It brushed away the nostalgia dust and made me realize just how slow and clunky the earlier games in the franchise are.
After several less than stellar purchases, I'm buying an RPG I own the boxed copy of, but can't run thanks to Windows 8.1. Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2. Hoorah.
