I definitely prefer the harder hits of Pyra compared to the more nimble Mythra. It's nice to have another transformation character in Smash after all this time. It's good to have some more variety.

I like Min Min. She feels a little basic in terms of her moves but basic is fine. If you play a character that relies on getting up close, she's a pain to face.

I like Byleth. I can see myself using them as a secondary. Some very strong attacks at the cost of being very slow.

Very cool that Terry has two side specials and around 50 music tracks releasing alongside him. Definitely the most content released alongside a DLC fighter so far.

Banjo is pretty fun but I can't see myself maining him. He's not much of a combo character.

Liking the Hero so far. I think he has a lot more options than other sword fighters. But the down B can be quite confusing to select what you want and remember what each option does in the middle of battle.

I seem to be one of the few who's not a fan of Piranha Plant. I think he's about limiting the option movements of your opponent with his B and side B. They're good for getting your opponents to shield or jump at the ledge, respectively. But I don't see anything special about the plant otherwise.

Wow. People here are speedrunning Smash. To me, it's a game that lasts for an entire generation, so I see no need to rush to unlock everything so quickly.

After watching the first Smash Ultimate majors this weekend, I can definitely say this game will be a lot more enjoyable to watch than Smash 4. Nice to see more aggressive play styles be rewarded and quite a few heavies being viable.

Finally got around to unlocking all the characters. Took me just under 19 hours of playtime with a mix of mostly Smash and Classic Mode.

Well, it is different than Smash 4 in that the difficulty you select isn't static, it goes up or down depending on whether you win or lose. I think that's a fair system.

Classic Mode is where the single player entertainment is for me. I love how they made it quick and easy to play with one of several bosses at the end. So much better than Smash 4's. World of Light is a beautiful map that's a slog to play. I play for 15 minutes at a time and get bored...
