With this latest sales update putting Switch sales at over 122 million, the Switch is officially the third best selling games system of all time behind only the PS2 and DS.

Absolutely insane that Animal Crossing sold almost 12 million units in 12 days. It really is the perfect game for these times. It's already outsold New Leaf to become the best selling game in the franchise.
I fully expect a Direct this month, especially since we haven't seen any Joker gameplay, and he's releasing later this month. I think it'll be a smaller presentation with some updates on third party releases and some more info on Super Mario Maker 2.

Think I'll be picking up Wargroove next week to scratch that Advance Wars itch. Unruly Heroes also looks good. Reminds me of Rayman Legends aesthetically.
That rumor seems really unlikely. I was thinking it seemed at least plausible until I read Nintendo Land. That game was made to show off the Wii U hardware. No way it gets ported.

While I don't agree with classifying the Switch as an 8th gen system, it has outpaced the sales of all 8th gen consoles at this point in their lives so far in the U.S. Over 8.7 million Switches sold in the U.S. alone with over 3 million...
It was a largely predictable direct with more details on games we know, but what they showed, especially of Super Mario Odyssey was magnificent. I can't wait for what looks like the best Mario game in years, and the only game I think can truly challenge Breath of the Wild for Game of the Year...
Sad news for me. I loved how Miiverse was Nintendo's own quirky take on social media. I wonder if this means more heavy Facebook and Twitter integration.
