I get what you're saying, what I'm saying is that the things that readslists do - share opinions on the whole swath of players, make reads easier to note, etc. are beneficial enough that even though it cuts both ways I think it's still net beneficial.

I agree w this, I think spreading FUD about reads lists is worse than letting mafia coordinate, TBH. If they're paying attention they know who's generally townread, generally scumread, etc.

This is an overly broad assumption. I think it's more likely than not we'd see one Scum on it, but seeing a pure ML D1 on LHF is far from shocking.

Not really, no, just looking for incongruencies. If Kirino had me at, say, null, I'd be leery that it was potentially because they weren't paying enough attention which would lean Scum to me.

For context, I probed this because I felt like Doc's opener and my opener had the same take on Kreaal, so there was going to be some grilling involved if you gave him townpoints for it but not me.

I agree with this and also with most of what Moe's said. Assuming kreaal is an ML, giving a push to kreaalwagon and then letting it go like SMS has means he's open to backing out later, if it fizzles, and if it doesn't, then he has everyone who's pushed on it since to hide among.

I'm think Scum who don't have an agenda to be pro-town are more likely to cast a meme vote they can get away with than Town are. Is that the most AI thing in the world? Certainly not, but I've yet to see anyone else offer better. If you're going to shoot it down, offer me something that is AI...

But they clearly did it, so you now have to ask yourself if it's more believable they did it as Town or as Scum. I think it's worse as a Scum play so makes more sense from Town, but ymmv.
