Anyone know what the bright shiny dandelion type seed is, usually sitting on top of a rock. When Link touches it it drifts off, disappears and regenerates insantly?
Your collective replies are interesting.
I have come out of TotK for the time being and gone back to BotW, it is definitely better as in the story line seems more definite, TotK seems to be just wandering around trying to complete one challenge just so you can start another.
To me it doesn’t...
I find TotK tiring, feels like I have to do so much to achieve little.
Just cleared all the Pirates from Laurelin and having to go off underground to find enough Bomb flowers etc to get the job done has taken ages.
I find food etc is difficult to find and the only reason I have a healthy...
I could easily go back to BotW, but I’m forcing myself along this game, not sure now the hype justified the game!
I do find the Shrines a bit of a let down, I keep hoping for a bit more of a challenge, getting to the end of a Shrine I’m looking to see if I’ve missed something.
Wasn’t going to...
I’m finding my feet now with this game.
Got some Amiibo cards and restarted the game, with what I now know I’m find it easier!
Trying to stop myself just going back to what I know-BotW.
Exactly that.
I’m not that enamoured to be honest, I find the some of the quests annoying the Korok that has to keep being rescued and the idiot holding up the signs!
The mechanics are quite clunky, having to go into the inventory and keep scrolling sideways for the object you want to fit to an...
Well into SS now but took a while to get into it, still having to ask Polygon or ign questions but I think I’m getting better at sussing things out for myself.
Im not a great fighter so some of the Bosses have taken me quite a while to master!
Hyrule as a kingdom must mean there are other countries around it, would love to be able to travel to them.
Its frustrating that you can see them but can’t get to them!
Monster parts are cooked with a an insect or Lizard or sunset Firefly, etc.
Like a Hearty Lizard cooked with a couple of Monster parts will give you an elixir.
You won’t get anything useable cooking just Monster parts.
I get the Travel Medallion, place it near the Dias where you need, then go off and do other things. As soon as a Blood Moon starts I teleport back to the Medallion and strip off!
I agree Zelda is unlikeable I always feel she needs a kick up the…..!
It doesn’t help that she has an overbearing father and a little girly voice, she never seems to stand up for herself.
So yes her character would need a lot of work and then just maybe she would be worth it!
Forgive me for asking a stupid question but why do people want to play BotW as Zelda?
I would imagine it could be quite boring spending all that time controlling Gannon, or am I missing something.
Anyway roll on BotW 2!
I did one run thru where I managed to get everything and all the Shrines and it all went extremely smooth but this time I seem to be just running in circles and not really getting anywhere!
The time it all went well is when I awoke I got the bird flying overhead!
Thanks for all the answers.
It is a shame the game is a bit vapid, it definitely needs more content and beefing up.
The characters are vague and the dialogue is c…p.
On the other hand the actions are very lifelike, I love the way characters heads follow Link when he is near them and the...
Since you got BotW how many times have you played it?
Count the times you’ve completed the run and the times you’ve bailed out before the end.
Think I’m on about 12 altogether now, can’t seem to leave it alone!
Would be nice if you could just take 2 or 3 ingredients, cook for a minute and make a useful meal!
In BotW I tend to stick to meals I need for conditions and extra hearts.
If you have a full run of hearts the Master Sword can send an attack by pressing R as if you were going to throw it.
I don’t think there are any other weapons that have a bonus!
Most of the characters that Link meets or has to save from monsters are very lame and why is it nearly always females that have to be saved and usually the same ones over and over again with the same lame excuses!
I would like Link to have a partner, maybe a dog, not to fight alongside just to be a companion.
I would also like Link to have a bit more interaction with others as in more options in what he can say, rather than the standard or ‘goodbye’.
It would be nice too if he has a home, as in BotW, he...
Thanks have got both those, got 119 Shrines now just missing the last one, spent ages going all over then gave up and went on to blast Ganon.
Wizz-bang finished!
Wish BotW 2 would hurry up!
I’m an older player, 70 yesterday!
Im not a grandma and I consider myself quite active walking the dog, I’m not a grandma type grandma.
I enjoy my Switch and I have a Nintendo DSi and quite a few games on my phone and iPad, I spend quite a bit of time playing.
I think it would be excellent to...
Finally got the Blight in the Illusory fight in Naboris!
Failed 3 times. So went off and did some searching out of elusive shrines, found some more Korok seeds, killed some more Moldugas then went back and gave that Blight hell!
I still need quite a few more Shrines, I need 3 more hearts! If...
Currently trying to fight the blight in Naboris-the illusory one, tried 3 times now and he beats me each time.
Wish I could wear the Thunder mask or the rubber suit, it’s the last phase with the fast hits combined with lightning!
I hate Naboris, I always find that beast hard!
Been playing for quite a while now and only just found out you can drop & detonate a bomb whilst gliding!!
Apart from that I love the way enemies look round for Link after he has shot one, if he stays hidden they eventually go back to whatever they were doing, so if it’s an uneven fight he can...
Happy New Year all, hope we all have a good gaming year.
I seem to have lost my interactive BotW map, can’t remember where I got it from, can someone help please.
Some sort of game guide to start off for newbies would be good, I spent quite a bit of time looking at polygon, etc for info on how to do certain thinags.
Some of the Shrines are boring but I’m not sure what could be changed except more puzzle ones.
Would be nice if Link could ask pertinent...
I do admit to quite a bit of googling the very first time I played BotW.
I didn’t have a clue on what to do, where to go nor how to do anything apart from run around.
The second time I played I fared much better as I had hindsight, trouble was with the first play thru I had never played a game...
I quite like the motion controlled shrines, annoying and they make you work but if they didn't they would be easy.
I like the shrines where you have to complete a quest or hunt them out and do something, like blast rock away, to get the shrine then the orb is free.
If I find a Major test of...
BotW is not ‘bad’ .
I suspect it’s just not what the Zelda fans expected!
For me coming to BotW with no previous experience of any Zelda game it was and still is fantastic! I still love the way it’s set out, I love the way the characters move-so lifelike and I love the open world.
I do agree a...
I’m doing another play through and I’ve had a lot of Blood Moons, I had two back to back and maybe about 4 or 5 in about 7 Link days!
I‘ve found things where I know they weren’t there and things missing from other places, this is compared to my last play through, I also seem stronger earlier...
I like Revali, he’s arrogant and supremely self assured, he doesn’t pull punches and doesn’t seem to like anyone apart from himself.
I also love Urbosa, she so poised and confident but you feel she would always be there for you!
