I'm a left handed guy myself but I had no problems playing Link left or right handed. Given the Wii-mote, I have to wonder why TP and SS couldn't have allowed you to put the Wii-mote in your left hand instead of your right hand...would have been fun for some people.
Beat Twilight Princess on the Wii last week and just beat Oracle of Seasons last night and input the code in Oracle of Ages. Just had one full run in the Zora dungeon in Majora's Mask and hoping to beat Majora's Mask since that would mean I have beaten all the 3D Zelda games. I'm also getting...
Just because the Oracle games used the same engine as LA on the Gameboy does not mean they have to use the same art style. LA for the Switch could be viewed as a demonstration of the Switch's graphical capabilities in addition to being a remake similar in the manner of the original LA beginning...
Once I get my hands on the DS Zelda games, I would have 14 Zelda games for the New 2DS XL that I have...pretty much the ultimate Zelda console to have at this point. At this point if you have not gotten Zelda Four Swords Anniversary on the 3DS family, you would be out of luck and stuck at 13...
I got Four Swords Anniversary Edition when it was available for download for free at the time. It's not available right now.
Also forgot Hyrule Warriors on the New 2DS XL which means I would have up to 14 Zelda games on the New 2DS XL.
Playing with Twilight Princess on the Wii and Ocarnia of Time on the New 2DS XL. Going to play Majora's Mask after beating Ocarnia of Time once again and the 3DS remakes of both N64 classics is highly recommended since the game runs more smoothly on the 3DS family of devices.
Then time to make...
You can buy the following Zelda games digitally for the Wii U:
Legend of Zelda
Zelda II
A Link To The Past
Ocarnia of Time
Majora's Mask
Minish Cap
Windwaker HD
Twilight Princess HD
Skyward Sword
Phantom Hourglass
Spirit Tracks
Breath of The Wild
12 Zelda games on one console which is awesome...
I'm pretty much not planning on buying the Wii U at this point because in addition to Zelda games that I could get on other platforms, the only Wii U game of interest to me would be Super Mario 3D World but that game appears to be headed to the Switch at some point next year before the holidays...
Hello all!
I'm working on having a library of every Zelda title. I also have a Switch, New 2DS XL, and Wii. Right now I don't have the following:
Skyward Sword for the Wii. (already beaten)
Spirit Tracks for the DS. (never played)
Phantom Hourglass for the DS. (already beaten)
Windwaker for...
I have an idea why Link's Awakening was remade.
Look at the upcoming Playstation 5 and Xbox Two consoles which will include ray tracing technology. AMD GPUs are going into that while the Switch has a Nvidia GPU inside (I know system on chip and it's called Tegra). Those new consoles are going...
Managed to get one but for $10 more. Given that season passes seem to be about $30 those days, $25 on the amiibo isn't too bad. Only bad thing is I have to wait a week for that thing. No worries!
In Hero mode, I picked the blue outfit for the first time and I'm making progress faster. Two more dungeons in Hero mode and I'm done.
Now I got to find the LA amiibo somewhere.
I understand the preference for 2D Zelda games versus 3D Zelda games and now open world 3D Zelda games since I prefer the 2D Zelda games overall. The nice thing is that Zelda games are going to be good in 2D or 3D.
I'm hoping that the next 2D Zelda game is going to be more like BoTW unless you...
This dungeon maker is something that is growing on me. This might be somewhat a preview of what to expect in BoTW 2 but I'm thinking the next 2D Zelda game will be the Zelda maker...preferably the remake of both Oracle games packed in one game.
The FPS issue is pretty minor and I think Nintendo will eventually release a performance patch at some point. It seems like the battery drains faster than BoTW.
That was a pretty faithful recreation of Koholint Island and there was only one frame where the phone house east of Mabe Village...go...
The framerate issues is not gamebreaking. It's a little annoying but it's obvious this game was made to really push the Switch's capabilities. I think Nintendo could potentially send out a patch to fix that issue and the game will be perfect.
If you used 1993's $30-35 price tag for the...
Already beat Link's Awakening Switch on normal difficulty and I'm soon finishing off Catfish Maw (level 5) on the Hero difficulty (really makes up for how easy LA was on the Gameboy series).
The constant remapping of the buttons in the original is not found in the Switch version...thank God for...
Hype has shot past a 10 this morning when I read some of the reviews and I have beaten the original and DX version probably over 20 times so I can say I know Koholint Island inside out.
But back to the reason why I'm excited: some reviews mention that the number of secret seashells has about...
I played on the original GameBoy along with the original LA. Good thing I had rechargeable batteries back then and not having backlight was a pain at times.
I had played ALTTP and knowing the original GameBoy wasn't as powerful as the NES and that remains one of Nintendo's most impressive game...
Link's Awakening is my favorite and I liked the Seasons & Ages games (I prefer Seasons in this case). I'm hoping those two get remakes too. It was so amazing how smooth Link's Awakening was compared to A Link To The Past when it first came out.
The Link Across Worlds & To The Past would be...
My biggest gripe with Link's Awakening was the buttons and how often you had to pause the game to select which item/weapon you wanted to do. Link to the website for the controls: https://www.zelda.com/links-awakening/gameplay/
I read on that website that the dash (peagus boots), blocking...
