For a normal game, Skyward Sword was pretty good. For a Zelda game, Skyward Sword, in my opinion, fell short just a little bit.

I love the "Staff Credits" from Wind Waker (it's the same song as the "Title Theme"). Win Waker has my favourite Soundtrack out of all the Zelda games.

The ending of Ocarina of Time more emotional in my eyes, and the way Link walked away from the Master Sword with the Temple of Time's bell ringing was more epic, in my opinion, than anything in Majora's Mask's ending.

I would Prefer an Octorock myself, the land ones like you see in the Handhelds. Octorocks, to me, would be much easier to take care of than Molgera.

I was one of the lucky ones who got to play MM as a veteran player so naturaly... I loved it! It's, to this day, my alltime favorite Legend of Zelda game yet! The entire feel of the game kept me playing, even in the bleakest parts of the game. All in all, this game to me is a masterpeice!

It was probably the easiest zelda game I played other than OOT, but still challenging enough to keep me playing.

I suggest a handheld, it's the best for beginners. especily ST, it has slightly better graphics and controls, and a very childish storyline. I wouldn't go into games like MM, OOT, ALTTP, TP, and WW till' he gets a little more adjusted to the series.
